After the completion of the :any:`Estimation` phase, we will test how well our estimates predict the cost of public land acquisitions for conservation purposes.

We are currently conducting a data collection process with publicly funded conservation organizations across the country to develop a ground-truthed validation sample of the cost and appraised value of transacted property rights (see :ref:`People`).
