Validation

After the completion of the Estimation phase, we will test how well our estimates predict the cost of public land acquisitions for conservation purposes.

Validation sample

We are currently conducting a data collection process with publicly funded conservation organizations across the country to develop a ground-truthed validation sample of the cost and appraised value of transacted property rights (see People).
